Daniel Miller
Founder & editor, Lbaro
Daniel Miller founded Lbaro. He builds every calculator, tests its formulas against worked examples and official references, and writes and updates the guides.
What I do on Lbaro
- Build the calculators. I write the code for all 15 calculators, keeping the math in separate, tested modules.
- Check every formula. Each result is tested against hand-worked examples and the official references listed on the page, such as the IRS, NIST, USGS or the College Board.
- Write and update the guides. I write the articles in plain English and revisit them when rules or yearly figures change, such as retirement contribution limits.
